We are open 38 weeks per year, term time only, Tuesday to Friday 8am to 3.30pm.

Our settling in procedure is tailored to each individual child.

Each child will need a small bag with a change of clothes, nappies and wipes if needed, any comforter the child has, Please ensure every item of belongings is clearly labelled.

Morning and afternoon snack is provided at Preschool, this consists of toast/crumpets, fruit, crackers, cheese. Each child who is at Preschool at lunchtime will need to bring a packed lunch. We ask that you also send a drink in a clearly labelled bottle

All staff hold relevant qualifications up to level 5. We continuously keep up to date with training, At any one time there will be at least 2 members of staff in the setting who are paediatric first aid trained. We work within ratio’s of 1:8 for 3 year olds, 1:5 for 2 year olds and 1: 3 for under 2’s. At the moment we take children from rising 2 to 5 years. We are hoping In the future to extend this to younger children. All staff are police checked.

Any child who is unwell must stay away from the setting, For sickness and/or diarrhoea exclusion is 48 hours after it stops. Any child requiring antibiotics needs to have had 24 hours of medicine and be well before returning to Preschool.
